Warranty is only valid for products purchased and installed within EU, CIS, or EFTA.

Yes, it is required for all warranty extensions.
If a product stops working a year or more after installation –is it automatically a warranty claim?
nVent will investigate the failure, in order to determine the warranty case.
If the repair reveals an issue is due to installation – who pays?
Cost of the non warranty repair will be charged to the person/company who made the request.
